These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the CRX3D website and any purchase of products from CRX3D PTY LTD, trading as CRX3D (“CRX3D”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using this website, creating an account, placing an order or purchasing a product from CRX3D, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit, exclude or waive any right that you have under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).

CRX3D is a South African retailer of 3D printers, filament, resin, accessories, spare parts and related products.
2. Website use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
• use the website in a manner that disrupts, damages or impairs it;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data;
• submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
• use automated systems, bots, scraping tools or similar methods without our written permission;
• copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit website content without our written permission; or
• use the website in a way that infringes another person’s rights or breaches applicable law.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect CRX3D, its customers, its systems or other users.
3. Product information and suitability
We aim to ensure that product descriptions, technical specifications, images, prices and stock information are accurate. However, errors, omissions, supplier changes and technical display differences may occur.
Product images are for illustrative purposes. Colours, finishes, packaging, included accessories and specifications may differ slightly from the displayed image or description, particularly where a manufacturer updates a product or its packaging.
You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your intended use before ordering. If you need assistance, contact CRX3D before purchasing.
Technical information, product guides, blog content, recommendations and support provided by CRX3D are general information only. They do not replace the manufacturer’s instructions, safety information, training, professional advice or your own assessment of suitability.
4. Pricing, stock and website errors
Prices are shown in South African Rand and will indicate whether VAT is included or excluded, where applicable.
We may correct pricing, description, stock, technical or promotional errors at any time. If an error materially affects your order, we will contact you before processing it or cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.
Stock shown on the website is subject to availability. Adding a product to your cart does not reserve it or guarantee its availability.
CRX3D may limit quantities, refuse or cancel orders where reasonably necessary, including where there is a pricing error, suspected fraud, stock unavailability, supplier cancellation, payment failure or an obvious error in the order. We will notify you and refund payments received for any order we cannot fulfil.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer by you to purchase the selected products.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order; it does not mean that CRX3D has accepted it.
A binding sale agreement is formed only when CRX3D confirms acceptance of the order in writing or dispatches the product to you, whichever occurs first.
You must provide complete and accurate contact, billing and delivery information. CRX3D is not responsible for delay, loss or additional cost caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.
6. Payment
Payment must be made by the payment method made available on the website or otherwise agreed by CRX3D in writing.
Orders will not be processed or dispatched until payment has been successfully received and verified where required.
If a payment is reversed, disputed, fraudulent, unauthorised or not received in full, CRX3D may suspend, cancel or refuse the order, subject to applicable law.
7. Delivery and collection
Delivery options, charges, estimated delivery periods and collection arrangements will be shown at checkout or otherwise communicated to you.
Any delivery date or timeframe is an estimate unless CRX3D expressly agrees otherwise in writing. We will take reasonable steps to meet communicated timeframes and will notify you of material delays that come to our attention.
Delivery is complete when the order is delivered to the address you supplied and accepted by you or a person reasonably appearing to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item is missing, incorrect, damaged in transit or visibly defective, contact CRX3D as soon as reasonably possible and retain the product, packaging and proof of delivery where available.
Nothing in this clause limits CRX3D’s obligations under the CPA in relation to delivery.
8. Returns, cancellations and refunds
Our Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions and is available at https://crx3d.co.za/privacy-policy
Returns, cancellations, repairs, replacements and refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law, including the CPA and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”), where applicable.
CRX3D will not apply a “no returns” or “no refunds” policy where a consumer has a right to a remedy under applicable law.
For change-of-mind returns, the applicable return conditions, exclusions, timeframes and any reasonable charges will be set out in the Returns and Refunds Policy. Statutory cancellation rights, where they apply, are not limited by that policy.
9. Warranties and defective products
Products may carry a manufacturer’s warranty in addition to the consumer protections that apply by law. The scope, duration and claim process for any manufacturer warranty may differ by product and will be subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Where the CPA applies, goods supplied to a consumer carry the implied warranty of quality provided for in the CPA. Nothing in these Terms limits that right.
A warranty or statutory remedy may not apply where a fault or damage is caused by misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorised modification, improper installation, neglect, failure to follow instructions, use outside specified operating conditions, unsuitable consumables, normal wear and tear, power-related damage, environmental damage or unauthorised repair—except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
CRX3D may reasonably inspect or arrange assessment of a product before confirming the appropriate remedy.
10. Product safety and responsible use
You must read and follow all manufacturer instructions, warnings, safety data sheets and local legal requirements before using any product.
This is especially important for equipment and consumables that may involve heat, moving parts, electricity, resin, fumes, chemicals, sharp tools, high-intensity light, lasers or other hazards.
You are responsible for ensuring that your workspace, ventilation, electrical supply, personal protective equipment, supervision and use of products are appropriate for the product and your intended application.
CRX3D does not approve or certify products for medical, safety-critical, aviation, automotive-safety, firearms, food-contact, structural, electrical or other regulated applications unless we expressly confirm this in writing for that specific product and use.
11. Accounts and account security
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity performed through your account.
You must notify CRX3D promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.
12. Intellectual property
The CRX3D name, logo, website design, text, images, graphics, product listings, guides and other website content are owned by or licensed to CRX3D and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
You may view and use website content for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes only. You may not use CRX3D branding or content without our prior written consent.
Third-party product names, logos, trademarks and images remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification or product-listing purposes.
13. Reviews, feedback and user content
If you submit a review, image, video, comment, question or other content to CRX3D, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing or offensive.
You grant CRX3D a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and display that content for customer-service, website, marketing and business purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We may remove or refuse to publish content that breaches these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.
14. Third-party services and links
This website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, social-media platforms, manufacturers or service providers. CRX3D does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, terms or services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
15. Important limitation of liability
PLEASE READ THIS CLAUSE CAREFULLY.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CRX3D will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss; loss of profit, income, business, production, data, goodwill or opportunity; or losses arising from a product being unsuitable for a purpose that was not clearly disclosed to and accepted by CRX3D in writing before purchase.
CRX3D is not liable for loss or damage caused by your misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, failure to follow instructions, unsuitable operating conditions, inadequate maintenance, unauthorised repair, use of incompatible materials or accessories, or use contrary to manufacturer guidance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising under the CPA for unsafe goods, defects, hazards or inadequate instructions or warnings.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify CRX3D against reasonable losses, claims, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, breach of these Terms, infringement of a third party’s rights, or unsafe or unauthorised use of a product after delivery.
This does not apply to the extent that a loss is caused by CRX3D’s own negligence, breach of law or failure to meet obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Privacy
CRX3D processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and POPIA Information Notice, available at:
• Privacy Policy: https://crx3d.co.za/privacy-policy
18. Changes to these Terms
CRX3D may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on the website with a revised effective date.
The Terms in force when you place an order will apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or is clearly to your benefit.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Before commencing formal proceedings, you agree to contact CRX3D at info@crx3d.co.za and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from exercising any right or pursuing any remedy available under applicable law.
20. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
A failure by CRX3D to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms, together with the applicable product listing, checkout information, Returns and Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and POPIA Information Notice, form the agreement between you and CRX3D in relation to use of the website and purchases from us.
