CRX3D respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how CRX3D PTY LTD, trading as CRX3D (“CRX3D”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website, purchase products from us, contact us, or engage with us through social media, email, WhatsApp or other channels. CRX3D is a South African retailer of 3D printers, filament, resin, accessories, spare parts and related products.

CRX3D processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and other applicable South African law.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

• Your name, email address, telephone number and delivery address.

• Account details, including login credentials, saved preferences and order history.

• Order and transaction details, including products purchased, payment status, delivery details, refunds and proof of payment.

• Communications with us, including emails, WhatsApp messages, social-media messages, reviews, support requests and warranty claims.

• Product-support information, including product serial numbers, printer details, images, videos or troubleshooting information you voluntarily provide

• Marketing preferences, including whether you have agreed to receive marketing or asked us to stop contacting you.

• Technical and website-use information, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and cookie-related information.

• Information received through social-media platforms when you interact with CRX3D content, advertisements, pages or direct messages.

We generally collect this information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, complete a form, subscribe to marketing, contact us, submit a support or warranty request, or use our website.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• process and deliver orders;

• confirm payments, manage returns and issue refunds;

• communicate with you about orders, deliveries, support requests or account matters;

• provide product guidance and process warranty-related requests;

5. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Those providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and security standards. CRX3D does not intentionally store full bank-card details where a third-party payment provider processes the transaction.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We may share relevant information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate CRX3D, including:

• payment providers and banks;

• courier, delivery and logistics providers;

• website hosting, e-commerce, email, IT, accounting and customer-support service providers;

• manufacturers, distributors or suppliers where needed for warranty support, technical assistance, product recalls or replacement processes;

• professional advisers, insurers, auditors or debt-collection providers where legally necessary;

• regulatory authorities, law-enforcement agencies or other parties where required by law; and

• a purchaser or successor if CRX3D is lawfully sold, merged or restructured.

We require service providers to protect personal information and use it only for authorised purposes.

7. Cookies, analytics and Meta technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the site and improve our marketing. Where enabled, CRX3D may use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure the effectiveness of Facebook and Instagram advertising, create relevant audiences and show CRX3D advertising to people who may be interested in our products. Non-essential cookies or advertising technologies will only be used where the required consent has been obtained. You can manage cookies through our cookie settings, where available, or through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

8. Marketing communications

CRX3D may send marketing relating to its products, services, educational content and offers only where permitted by POPIA. You may unsubscribe from email marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at info@crx3d.co.za. You may also ask us not to contact you by WhatsApp, SMS or another electronic channel. Every direct-marketing communication will identify CRX3D and provide a way to opt out.

9. International processing

Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, CRX3D will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by POPIA.

10. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

• fulfil orders and provide customer support;

• meet legal, tax, accounting and record-retention obligations;

• process warranties, returns, disputes and fraud investigations; and

• establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

When information is no longer needed, we will securely delete, destroy or de-identify it unless we are legally required or permitted to retain it.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration and destruction. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person, we will investigate the incident and provide notifications where required by POPIA.

Subject to POPIA and applicable law, you may:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you;

• request access to your personal information;

• request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading information;

• request deletion or destruction of information where it is no longer lawfully required;

• object to certain processing;

• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and

• object to direct marketing at any time.
